Sadaqah

Sadaqah or Sadaka) in the contemporary background has come to mean “voluntary charity”. According to the Quran, the word wealth voluntary submission, whose quantity is at the will of the “sponsor”.

Sadaqah According to Arabic language, the words derivative from origin s-d-q cover “many meanings related with ideas of justice and truth.” In the Quran, connected words are used to point to “right excellence”, such as the al-siddiq (honest), used to explain the forecaster Joseph, or sadiq (trusted friend). Modern researches, on the other hand, try to etymologically connection the remark as  sadaqa to the Hebrew sedāḳā (almsgiving). Little experts therefore finish that sadaqa is a loanword.
