Allah (SWT) has said in the Noble Qur’an. “I have not created the jinn and humankind for any other purpose except that they should worship me.” (Noble Qur’an 51:56)

It is transparent from the above verse of that the objective of nascence of humankind is to worship Allah (SWT). There are many ways of worshiping Allah and the most essential one is Salah.

“O ye who believe !seek help with patient perseverance and prayer; for Allah is with those who patiently persevere. ” (Noble Qur’an 2:153)
Above verse presents that Salah is direct source of seeking help from Allah (SWT)

According to a Hadith a companion of Holy Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) came to him one day. He(pbuh) asked him “What is the thing that Allah (SWT) loves most?” Holy Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) replied “The thing that Allah (SWT) loves most is when his people pray Salah on time.”

Allah Most High says: ” O you who believe, let neither your wealth nor your children distract you from the remembrance of Allah. And those who do so, they will be the losers” (Quran 63:9)
The commentators say: “The ‘remembrance of Allah’ in this verse means the five daily prayers. If anyone is so busy in earning money or social deeds or with family, that he cant perform prayers he will be with losers.”
Imam Jafar Sadiq (R.A) said: “The superiority of namaz performed sooner over the one offered later is the same as the superiority of the afterlife over this world.”

Prayer is mandatory in islam no excause is acceptable near Allah, do not stop especially salatul Fajr and Isha. Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah said:
“No prayer is more burdensome to the hypocrites than the Fajr (dawn) prayer and the ‘Isha’ (night) prayer; and in case they knew their merits, they would come to them even if they had to crawl to do so.” [Bukhari and Muslim]
No one wants to be called as hypocrites. Everyone is good it’s just that people have to find that goodness inside of themselves. It’s ok to take a rest from other dynamic activities few times to revive your eagerness.we should be careful to protect our obligations. Never let them slip-up!

Our heart is purified when we perform prayer and our moral is elevated. Through prayer the person connects with ALLAH. And learns lesson of patience humbleness and genuineness. Prayer hinders from misdeeds. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) described this in following words:
“If there is a stream outside house of a person and he takes bath in it five times a day, do you think he would be dirty anymore?” The people said, “No he cant be dirty.” The Prophet (peace be upon him) then said, “That is like the five daily salah : Allah washes their sins out” (From the Hadeeth collections of Al-Bukhari and Muslim.

According to Sayyidna Anas, Radi-Allahu anhu, the Holy Prophet, Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam, said: “The person who offers his prayers continuously for 40 days without missing the first takbeer, is granted a two-fold immunity by Allah: immunity from Hell-fire and immunity from hypocrisy. (Tirmidhi)

Allah says: When ye travel through the earth, there is no blame on you if ye shorten your prayers, for fear the Unbelievers May attack you: For the Unbelievers are unto you open enemies. (Noble Qur’an 4:101)

When a person prays five times a day he constantly remembers ALLAH and tries his level best to please Allah .prayer is source of inner peace, courage, hope, confidence and expression of thankfulness to Allah

Once Holy Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) shook a dry branch of a tree so that all of the leaves of the branch fell off than the Holy Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said “The sins of those who pray Salah, drop off as the leaves of this branch fell off.

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, “On the Day of Judgement, a slave will be questioned about his prayers first. If his prayers are good, his other deeds will be good, too. If his prayers are bad, his other deeds will be bad, too.” (Tabarani, Targhib)

Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H) compelled his companions to offer prayer in mosque as mentioned in following hadiths
“Give good news to those who go to the masjid in the darkness of the night to offer the prayer in congregation that on the Day of Judgment they will be provided with a perfect light.” (Tirmidhi)
Offering the prayer in congregation carries 27 times greater reward than offering it alone individually.” (Bukhari, Muslim)
