Farḍ is an Islamic word which indicate a spiritual duty authority by Allah (God). Words also worn in Persian, Pashto, Turkish, or in the same sense.
Fard or its synonym is one the five form Ahkam in which Fiqh classify acts of each Muslim. The Hanafi Fiqh though makes a difference between Wajib or Fard, the latter organism obligatory and the former just essential. In Indonesian, wajib also wealth obligatory, because of the word is consequent from Arabic.
