al-Mu’izz li-Din Allah

Abu Tamim Maad al-Muizz li-Dinillah 26 September 932 or 19 December 975 “Fortifier of the faith of God”, also spell as the al-Moezz, was the 4th Fatimid Caliph or 14th Ismaili imam, and time in power from 953 to 975. It was throughout his caliphate that the middle of power of the Fatimid family was enthused from Ifriqiya name (northern Africa) to the recently occupied Egypt. Fatimids establish the city of al-Qāhiratu “the Winning” (Cairo) in 969 as capital of the Fāṭimid caliphate in Egypt.
